All electrofusion welding equipment complies with the International Organization for Standardization standard:

ISO12176-2 Plastic pipes and fittings, equipment for fusion jointing polyethylene systems, part 2, electrofusion.

All bar code electrofusion welding equipment complies with the International Organization for Standardization standard:

ISO13950 Plastic pipes and fittings, automatic recognition systems for electrofusion joints.

Where shown, electrofusion welding equipment is approved to the UK Gas Industry Standard:

GIS/ECE1 Specification for electrofusion control boxes.

Where shown, mechanical equipment is approved to the relevant UK Gas Industry Standard:

GIS/PL2-3 Part 3: Butt fusion machines and ancillary tooling.
