These tools have been designed to remove the internal bead from a butt-fusion welded joint.
The tool pushes inside the pipe on an extendable rod up to a depth of 12 meters. Spacers can be placed on the rod and adjusted to the internal diameter to keep the tool aligned.
The blade is geometrically designed to only cut the bead and will not damage the pipe wall. The tool is rotated to cut and catch the bead which is removed with the tool. The removal of the bead is ideally done during the cooling period of the joint while the bead is still warm.
The tool is available in three different sizes: 90 to 160mm, 160 to 300mm, 300 to 500mm.
The blade is shaped to cut the bead away without damaging the pipe.
Extender rods can be used to give an insertion depth of 20 meters.
A sturdy transport case is provided to keep all parts safe.
